You can assign a material parameter to them or a text parameter. Shouldn't that take care of your problem? You don't set up separate key schedules but just one with all 4 Dave Baldacchinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00431940617680243953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569516199116206255.post-68832415580055402362010-11-04T16:57:31.559-05:002010-11-04T16:57:31.559-05:00Oops, sorry, meant Dave not Paul.Oops, sorry, meant Dave not Paul.Vegetable Lasagnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04053606343147819876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8569516199116206255.post-21949145799513313692010-11-03T16:25:26.047-05:002010-11-03T16:25:26.047-05:00Great post Dave, and a subject which is often a gr...Great post Dave, and a subject which is often a great source of frustration in my office. As the office Revit evangelist it pains me to have to explain to people just how dumb Revit is with regards to handling finishes as you describe in your post. We to have come up with various workarounds but they never hit the spot. We typically schedule N, E, S, W walls separately. I cannot figure out how to set up a Key Style that will work for this. If I set up a Key Style Schedule for each direction, my materials will not be consistent across the four walls (P-1 could be different in each direction).
